A Study in Layers

Overlooking Massey's Gap (second highest point in Virginia). Glenn says this is the only place he's been able to see nothing but a golden yellow plateau and miles of blue-toned mountain ranges ... no roads or houses ... a peaceful yet enlivening place

Alpha & Omega

The title refers to the beginning and the end: the vibrant plants in the background and the dying tree in the foreground.

Arboretum Reflections & Ducks Panorama

We cropped "Arboretum Reflections & Ducks" into a panoramic shape.

Arboretum Reflections & Ducks

Taken at Virginia's state arboretum in Berryville, this colorful shot shows the reflections of ducks and trees.

Autumn Trees & Fenceline

The orange and gold leaves in this photograph practically leap off the page!

Backroad Blizzard

The inner image is of a country road in a blizzard. Then we ghosted that image onto the surrounding mat.

Blue Ridge Parkway Barn

The rich green grass and foliage in this photograph nicely complement an abandoned barn on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Brilliance in Autumn

The West Virginia hills are alive with autumn color. The trees are ghosted onto the bottom of the mat.
